Delete your account
This permanently deletes your Market Companion account. It cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your email address, password, display name and profile bio
- Every file and image you uploaded to chat, removed from our servers
- Your chat room memberships and direct-message conversations
- Your sign-in sessions, on every device
What happens to your messages
Messages you posted in chat rooms stay visible to the people you sent them to, but your name is permanently removed from them and replaced with “[deleted]”. They can no longer be traced back to you. We do this because removing one side of a conversation would make other people's conversations unreadable.
What was never on our servers
Your watchlist and your portfolio holdings are stored only on your phone and were never uploaded to us. Deleting your account does not affect them. To remove those, uninstall the app or clear its data.
Records we must keep briefly
If your account was reported or moderated, we keep the moderation record for up to 12 months for safety and legal reasons. It does not contain your email address or your messages.
Delete it now
Enter the email address and password for the account. We sign you in to prove the account is yours, then delete it immediately.
Can't sign in?
If you have lost access to the account, email support@marketcompanion247.com from the address you registered with and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
You can also delete your account inside the app: open the Chat tab, tap the profile icon, then Delete account.
